Quality Clinical Labs Services

Hematology
Minimum 375 uL of whole blood, anticoagulated with EDTA (1-2 mg per mL of blood). Sodium citrate (3.4 - 3.8 g/dL) is not preferred but may be used as the anticoagulant at a concentration of 1 part anticoagulant to 9 parts whole blood.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC) with no Differential
  • (WBC, RBC, HCT, HGB, MCV, MCH, MCHC, MPV, RDW, CHCM)
  • Platelet (automated count)
  • Reticulocytes
  • Differential Count
  • Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential

Clinical Chemistry
Sample should be fresh or frozen serum (no hemolysis); most individual tests require 3-40 uL of serum; separated from cells within 30 min-1 hr of collection. Minimum volume for profile should be 0.5 ml.

Urinalysis
Requires a minimum of 3.0 ml urine in a screw-capped conical urine tube.

  • Complete Urinalysis (urine chemistries with microscopic exams of urine sediments)
  • Urinalysis Chemistries Only (specific gravity, pH, Gluc, Ketone, Protein, Urobilinogen, Bilirubin, Blood, Leukocyte, Nitrite)

Coagulation
Each sample requires 275 uL citrated plasma. The anticoagulant of choice is sodium citrate (3.4 - 3.8 g/dL), at a concentration of 1 part anticoagulant to 9 parts whole blood.

  • Prothrombin time (PT)
  • Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (APTT)
  • Advance Coagulation studies: Factors V, VII, XII, Protein C and S, D-Dimer, Fibrinogen

Other Tests
Please inquire for other non-listed tests as we continually improve and expand our services.

  • Non-listed Chemistry, Hematology, and Coagulation Tests
  • Method Development and Validation

We provide full service chemistry, coagulation, hematology, and urinalysis for pre-clinical studies, GLP or non-GLP.
